very nice shading and shadow effect... what software did you use here? i haven't tried shadows yet...
i really like the shadow you used in this piece and how you made the picture look so real with the detail in the pillow and bed

thank you! knottydon, i used photoshop (paintbrush with different levels of opacity) then created the shadow on another layer.
Nice technique, and effective illustration. Good job, this is cute.
